Diana Frans is a Christian singer and songwriter. She is married to Brett Frans who is pastor of a non-denominational church and has two adult sons. Diana began exhibiting musical talent at an early age, singing and writing her own songs. When her dad surprised her at age nine with a baby grand piano, Diana quickly began teaching herself how to play and accompany herself. She began to compete and win many vocal competitions, finally achieving her greatest accomplishment of first place in a national competition for a vocal solo. Diana’s talent and love for music turned into a life-long passion. Diana has traveled all over the United States performing in many churches and Christian organizations. After a remarkable career of 30 years in music education and ministry, and at the urging of many people, Diana has decided to share her music with the debut of her album, “From a Mother’s Heart”. She especially wanted to leave this for her sons, B.J. and Nathan, who are the love of her life! Many people, especially mothers, will identify with and be ministered to by the songs on this album. Diana knows the pain of losing two children by miscarriage. She knows the crippling fear of almost losing a child to cancer. She knows the struggles of raising a child with a serious learning disability. And she knows the heartwrenching pain of a prodigal son. And out of each of these experiences, God gave her a new song. As the chorus in one of her songs says, “Every tear I’ll cry tomorrow You know about today. You know my pain, my joy, my sorrow and through it all help me to say, hallelujah”. You may ask how Diana can sing hallelujah in the midst of sorrow and pain? She will tell you it is because as Christians we know we serve a God Who loves us and Who knows what is best for us! We can rest our hearts and lives in His hands.

Diana’s mother was a great mentor and friend and also her greatest fan. One month after beginning this album, her mother passed away suddenly due to a stroke. Diana has dedicated this album to her mother with the heartwarming song written for her, “Never Let You Go”. Everyone will go through struggles in this life. It is Diana’s prayer that you will experience the miracles that this music has already produced in her life!
